Good news for Battlestar Galactica fans

Good news for Battlestar fans!

According to Slice of SciFi, and their news is normally spot on, the suits at the Scifi Channel have made amends for their previous insults (some of them) by extending BSG’s fourth season to a full 22 episodes. About frakkin time! Maybe Bonnie Hammer and gang have been exploring the blogosphere, and podosphere, and got tired of hearing their names run through the proverbial wringer. BSG deserves a full fourth season, and why they’re at it, why not green light a fifth?

Also, as you’ll see in the article, fans will be treated to an original 2 hour BSG movie! Now that is something to praise. Thank you, Bonnie!

And let us not forget about the planned prequel series, Caprica. Not much has been released about this yet, but the series will supposedly chronicle the Adama family while detailing the many events leading up to the attacks.

All in all, the future looks bright for BSG fans. And tomorrow’s season 3 finale is going to be a shocker. I can sense it! Are Tigh and Anders Cylons?

Three seasons in and I still can’t decide if I like this show. Yes, I’ve watched every episode…I just can’t seem to turn it off.

Sometimes I think the writers border on melodrama and I want to throw something at the screen. That’s when I say, “Okay, I’ll watch next week, and if it doesn’t get better…never again.”

That’s when they pull some amazing plot twist out and re-hook me. Tomorrow’s episode I think will make or break the series for me.

This season has been hit and miss since the escape from New Caprica, but I still think that so-so BSG is better than most TV shows. That being said, overall season 3 is probably the weakest season. Still, I can’t help but feel that Moore has been setting the stage for something very, very big.
