And the winner is. . .

Some of you may have heard that we won the 2008 Parsec Award for best writing related podcast! I was quite surprised as we were up against some steep competition. Also nominated were I Should be Writing, The Survival Guide to Writing Fantasy, and Tale Chasing.

This is the third year the Parsec Awards have celebrated excellence in speculative fiction podcasting, and I believe we join Michael A. Stackpole and Mur Lafferty as winners in this category. It’s quite an honor, and I won’t buy generic gabapentin lie. The recognition has recharged my podcasting batteries – batteries that were feeling a bit drained after an intense summer that saw me podcasting from Clarion, Comic-Con, and Writers of the Future.

So, our sincere thanks to the person who nominated us, and our thanks to all the listeners around the globe who have taken this podcast into their homes, cars, gyms, and workplaces. You guys and gals make it worthwhile, because without the AISFP community, there would be nothing to celebrate.
