AISFP 83 – Matthew Rotundo, Jordan Lapp, Lou Anders

Matthew Rotundo and Jordan Lapp, two first place winners of the L. Ron Hubbard Presents: Writers and Illustrators of the Future contest, join us to discuss the history of WoTF, their experience at the workshop, and how the contest will enable them to achieve future goals. Also, Lou Anders, Editorial Director of Pyr Books, gives us a brief look into the sights and wonders of Comic-Con.

The awards ceremony will be available online around September 7th, and we will link to it then. Until then, please check out the book promo on the homepage.

  1. Shaun,

Thanks for fixing my omission and noting my co-authors on the novel in the show notes. I appreciate it!

  2. Shaun Farrell says

Sure, Christian. I’ve tried to email you twice, but it gets bounced back.

    Hi Shaun,

Great to hear your voice again! No worries about the old interview. It was a lot of fun even if the recorder decided to go on vacation haha. I listened to the current incarnation and it sounds like Matt and Jordan did an excellent job of recapping the week and what the WotF experience means.

Wasn’t aware of your site before, but I think I’ll be a regular listener from now on.

Thanks for leaving a comment, Emery. I couldn’t track you down via Google, and I apologize for the technical difficulties. Congrats on winning the Gold Award! That’s wonderful.

Welcome to the site. There are many hours of audio to check out. Most are listed in iTunes, and the entire backlog can be found under “shows” in the Category section on the right side of the page.

    Take care.

You’re very welcome, Shuan. It’s no problem at all. Things happen and I’m just happy you took the time to give it a second go. And thank you for the congratulations. I’m thrilled to say the least :).

I’ll definitely be spending some time rummaging through your fine site!

  6. Great interview Shaun. Too bad the first interview didn’t go. I will also make sure this link gets sent around to our Writers of the Future newsletter subscribers so they can hear it as well.
