SF Books Releasing This Week: Oct. 8, 2013

Welcome to a new series at Adventures in SciFi Publishing. My goal for this is to make it easier for you, the reader, to find each week’s release of “all” the science fiction and fantasy books (and all sub-genres in between–yeah, I’m talking to you Amish Vampires in Space lovers). I subscribe to most of these publishers’ newsletters, but to have all this info in one place… I don’t know that it’s out there. I will also include indie authors and kickstarter/indie gogo projects starting in a given week. I can use your help by emailing the show, commenting, etc to help me track down what I miss. The images are Amazon affiliate links to Amazon.com to help support my work, so thanks in advance. If you don’t like Amazon, I link the publisher’s website above each row. Those who send me physical books get their book in the mainpage image, just sayin’ ;). Also, this post will have a few earlier releases that I missed since this is the first such post. Enjoy the reading! How about we start with some indies?

  1. Some good lookin’ stuff there. I snagged Ancillary Justice right away because I am always a sucker for a John Harris cover. The book sounds interesting too, so that is an added bonus.

    • I’m 18% in. I wouldn’t recommend reading it in spurts. Just immerse in it and wait for the fog to clear. It is a great cover. I love that you have a cover artist who is an auto-buy.
