AISFP 244 – J.L. Bourne, DAY BY DAY ARMAGEDDON

It is with my utmost pleasure to present this interview with the author who introduced me to zombie fiction, J.L. Bourne. I was going to wait until the new year to post this, but his naval officer experience and influence to his novels means many of his fans are in the military. Since some of our nation’s heroes are only home for a few days on Christmas, I didn’t want to miss their availability to the internet to download this. Enjoy J.L.’s story of how he self-published Day by Day Armageddon, published the trilogy through Permuted Press and recently dropped a bomb of possibility on his world with the short story, Day by Day Armageddon: Grey Fox. J.L. also talks about his current project and options for other stories in the Day by Day Armageddon series.

Other podcasts I’ve done with zombie authors: AISFP 223Peter Stenson, FIEND; AudioTim 45Mark Tufo, ZOMBIE FALLOUT.

Those two authors, Peter Stenson and Mark Tufo, would be my recommendation for zombie fiction fans. Hugh Howey’s I, Zombie is another good one. Any others that you would recommend?

  1. I’d recommend the Series of zombie and end of the world books by Stephen Knight. Very well done and entertaining story lines.
